Solar energy production has significant benefits for the environment. The energy generated is both clean and renewable. It can be used to supply needs currently met by coal-fired generation. Generating renewable energy has become a great profit potential. Through the Micro-FIT program the OPA is paying $.802/kWh for solar energy fed back into the grid.
